Pre-School and Kindergarten
![]() |
Reading readiness is the primary academic objective of the Kindergarten program. Using the bright and colorful Pre-school/Kindergarten curriculum with Ace and Christi, students develop the skills and coordination needed for reading. Character trait stories, animal songs, art projects, games, physical development activities and even cooking projects reinforce PACE learning and all add up to a well-rounded curriculum. During kindergarten, children learn to name and print letters as well as the 35 letter sounds in preparation for the Learning-to-Read program. This approach eliminates the confusion surrounding the fact that the same letter may make more than one sound and allows time for more coordination development before beginning letter formation. |
